So as I was peddling through Miramar Beach I saw a sign for five guys and even though it was before they opened and it wasn't a planned stop I decided to visit and add that one to the list of the ones on the Tour de five guys. I tapped on the door and the general manager John opened up and I explained the Tour de five guys to him. He was intrigued and agreed to take a picture of me and my bike in front of the big red five guys sign on my cell phone. He asked me if he could take a picture of me on his phone to share the Tour de five guys wth his area manager and other area five guys. Of course I said yes and told him he could share it with anyone he wanted to. He also clued me in that there was another five guys location up the road in Fort Walton Beach. So I peddled on to Fort Walton Beach after a much needed lunch/hydration/phone charge break at Subway. I decided I was going to go to the Fort Walton location as another bonus stop on the Tour de five guys. Before I could get fully in the door the 3 gals working there were so excited to tell me they heard all about the Tour de five guys and they were hoping I would stop by so they could meet me. The general manager is Sarah (black shirt) and the other 2 team members are Michelle and Casey. Their excitement totally pumped me up! Sarah offered me a drink and then food as well. I told her I had just had lunch and my daily hamburger and french fries was going to be for dinner at the five guys in Pensacola. I asked her if I could have an oreo pieces milkshake as an afternoon dessert snack and she was happy to fix me up. She also wanted a picture on her phone after taking one on my phone. They really made the day fun with their enthusiasm and they make GREAT TEAM serving great food with a welcxoming smile and attitude! WHO DAT - Ya'll inspired me today girls!
