So I finished the Tour de five guys on friday at my dad's house on the westbank but I felt like I needed to visit one of the five guys in New Orleans. I needed to get a bike box for my bike for the trip home on Southwest Airlines on Tuesday October 7 so I found a FedEx location on Tchoupitoulas Street that had one and also had a five guys right next door. So I introduced myself to the manager at the five guys as a New Orleans native who was completing this 19 day adventure cycling in the SE part of the US powered by five guys burgers and fries. She was intrigued and helped me get a picture in front of her store and she also got one for herself on her phone. She gathered her "who dat" crew for the picture you see on this blog and treated me to my final hamburger and fries of the Tour de five guys. You can feel the hospitality of New Orleans everywhere you go! Somehow even consistently great food like five guys hamburgers and fries tastes even better in New Orleans especially after finishing a 19 day bike ride! WHO DAT! "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?" Come on guys lets bring it against the Giants today in New Orleans!
