Learning on Day 3

1. So anyone who knows me knows that when I take on a challenge I give it my all.   I always tell the students when I substitute teach to just do their best!  Well this morning I am telling you I gave it my best yesterday and I came up a bit short!   I learned a lot as my failure is my teacher and I win every time I get up again cause I can't lose if I keep learning!  My training for the Tour de five guys forget to include the weight on the back of my bike and how it would take it out of me on the hills in Virginia. I was able to do 80 miles yesterday but the last 40 miles were just to much now that I am 64 years young!  Ha ha. The good news is the rest of the days are 90 miles or less an there are less hills as I go farther south.  No solution for my age except to focus on eating and hydrating as best I can and listen to my body when it needs a short break during the day!

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY GREAT FRIEND TERIANNE OLIVIER WHO WAS ABLE TO TRADE CARS WITH HER HUSBAND KEN AND RESCUE/SAVE ME AND MY BIKE AND TRANSPORT ME TO FIVE GUYS IN GREENSBORO WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO CATCH UP OVER DINNER!  TERIANNE USUALLY DRIVES A MINI-COOPER SO THAT WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED!
