So as I was getting close to Dothan AL I was looking for a ride in to avoid the traffic an possible storms brewing in the distance so I stopped at gas station quick stop and asked the first guy coming out walking toward a truck if I might hitch a ride to Dothan. He said in jest "Your not a serial killer are you?" And of course I said "No". He then followed up with "How would I know". I said "Because I am honest". He laughed and said "Oh an honest serial killer." we laughed and he said sure to my ride request and we loaded my bike in the back of his truck. He got one more swipe in when I asked him if I should sit in the front or back of the cab - "I am probably safer if you sit in the front". What a fun guy to talk too! He told me a lot about Dothan and how he landed there with his wife and 2 kids. He was ironically off to Panama City with his family dropping me off at five guys. Panama City is my next stop tomorrow.
